Some facts you should remember by buying an azalea!
The blossom should be taut and fresh. Plants with blossoms like tissue paper and a light root (dry) are mostly overload. Try to buy plants whith many of closed blossoms, but the blossoms must show theire colour. By tending well and right the blossoms will open very well. Almost every standing point is right. Before the window they will be coloured very well. Also standing on the table the buds will open well. Into a cool room they will be longer good than into very strong heated rooms. Do not dry up the roots, but it isn´t good if it stand in water all the time, too. A regular dampness is ideal. If the roots are too dry, take the plant and put it into a bowl (whith water) for 15 minutes. By tending it is better to use a small substratum than a pot. After the blossom period you must put the old blossoms away and water the plant regular. You should fertilize every 14 days. In summer a godd standing place is the balcony, the terrace or the garden (shady). (Eastside or under a higer plant). After mowing in spring it will be blossom in autumn or winter (like the sort).
